Shania Twain is back with new empowering music after a fifteen year hiatus

Shania Twain disappeared 15 years ago from superstardom, but she’s back with an empowerment Summer anthem that will be on her long awaited new album that comes out this September. The single, “Life’s About to Get Good” was dropped this weekend and shot to the Top 10 in a sea of children with Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, and Selena Gomez.

Today she still holds the title of best selling female country artist of all time. And her album “Come On Over” is still the best selling album by a female artist of all time.

She decided to take a break fifteen years ago and hide out from the burn out of making album after album and tour after tour only to discover that a year into her hiatus that her husband who was also her best friend and producer was busy having an affair with one of her best friends.

The new song is about that affair killing her, but she had to move through it in order to see that the best of times were still up ahead with her new husband who showed her love is still possible.

It’s an empowering song for anyone looking to be reminded blessings exist even after a tragedy. In a sea of pretentiousness in the music industry today, it’s refreshing to have her back and still maintain her most authentic self. I saw her perform in the Summer of 2015 to a sold out packed stadium proving she still has it.

You can pretty much buy the single everywhere from Amazon to iTunes. Give it a listen and be lifted up:

“Life’s about joy.
Life’s about pain.
It’s all about forgiving and the will to walk away.
I’m ready to be loved and love the way I should.
Life’s about to get good.”
