Once in a blue moon, I may pull out a review or testimonial that caught my eye. Here is one of the greater review critiques from a reader that came in recently about two of my love books. This person honed in on specifics showing me that the reader paid attention. You know I love detail!
“Kevin! Keep up the great writing! I particularly loved the following in the books I read:
“Love Party of One” – You did an awesome job of laying out exactly how things are in today’s world. You didn’t sugar coat anything and you were spot on with your observations. And, what I really loved was that you didn’t try to offer any kind of magical solution. You offered tips and suggestions, but you didn’t pretend to have a plan to “follow these steps and find the love of your life”. That really made you credible and authentic.
“Soul Mates and Twin Flames” – Emphasizing the fact that soul mates are not necessarily meant to be in your life forever, could only be a days, weeks, months, etc. I think this should be required reading for everyone when they are a teenager, so they know what to expect, or not expect, in their relationships. I think this is one of the toughest and most painful life lessons one has to learn.
Also from that book you said – “I made a pact to never get involved with anyone who I considered less than my equal.” THIS……I cannot love this enough. Words to live by. And, you also emphasized not letting loneliness drive you to lower your standards and date the wrong person, just out of fear of being alone or a temporary ego boost. Again, words to live by!
I could go on and on with dozens of other great items – so many highlights in your books and great messages. Bravo! You have a gift – keep sharing it!”
I always have my eye up ahead, exploring the unknown, expanding my horizons, using the gift of foresight, knowing what to expect, and showing others the way. I’m a Type A personality who is always thinking and living in a project, until I receive a note from a reader that confirms I’m continuously helping people without realizing it.
I love reading the notes that come in from my readers, both the new and loyal ones who find me and then stick around for good. Even though it’s been consistent for years now, it’s still shocking and feels as if they’re talking about someone else. These are people from all walks of life, all ages, all backgrounds, and all corners of the globe. I write something and move on only to discover that it later lands in the hands of someone in England, Australia, Turkey, Japan, or Brazil. That’s pretty fascinating
Over the past year I’ve also witnessed an unusual rise in various MTV and VH1 pop stars for different shows writing to me. These are people that come from a packaged pop music genre world that is exterior focused, and yet they stumble upon my spiritually based books and it awakens something deeper in them.
The best notes I receive are the detailed and heartfelt ones where the reader just wants to say thank you. Something propels all of these people to try and locate me so they can say those two simple words. They don’t want anything, except to explain how something they read of mine helped in a positive way such as this example of another more recent one:
I would like to say that reading your books have changed my life. I was at rock bottom not knowing which way to turn after being ripped off by a friend for thousands of pounds leaving me virtually penniless. I thought that I was a mug and a failure at everything, feeling all alone in this world I could not see any future for myself, then somehow I stumbled across your books. THANK YOU so much Kevin you have literally saved my life your words touched me you are such a gifted man. God bless you!!

“I went to a dozen psychics over the last few weeks to tell me if me and this guy were going to be an item after I went to stay with him for two weeks. They all told me that it was going to happen. That he’s in love with me. And that he’d come back with me. You were the only one that told me I was blinded by illusions and that it would not end in my favor. That it would be a disaster. You urged me not to go stay with him. You were the only one that was accurate and you don’t even do this for a living! You’re more psychic than these others that I’ve shelved out money for this past month. I should’ve listened, but thank you for not telling me what I wanted to hear, but what I needed to hear.”
This is from the same woman that came to me a couple weeks ago and was featured in my “Ask Jagger” advice column. To read that very long piece and the outcome click here
I also want to ad that we are all psychic. I’m not a trained professional. I simply state what I hear and know. If one wants to call that psychic then so be it.
