Nature areas tend to have a thriving spiritual community and those open to spiritual pursuits

Moving to the rhythm of a wild heart that beats like a rolling drum 🥁 when you’re around. 💗

Nature areas tend to have a thriving spiritual community and those open to spiritual pursuits. This is because spiritually driven people tend to be extremely sensitive and don’t do well in environments that have harsher energy, such as places that are packed with crowds, sirens blaring or horns constantly honking. They battle with deeper emotions and as a protection retreat or avoid certain locales that lack in nature if and when they have that option. They also understand that nature areas allow them to connect with spirit and the planes beyond much easier.

Jagger’s Revolution: The 10 Year Anniversary. Trashy Beach Reads.

Image may contain: ocean, one or more people, text and outdoor

It was ten years ago this week in November 2006 that my first official book came out, “Jagger’s Revolution”. Before my spiritually based books, I was writing about love, dating, sex, and relationships.

“Jagger’s Revolution” is an uncensored look at actual events that took place in my life. It is semi-autobiographical and loosely based, but for the most part about 85% of it did indeed take place. I had no reservations or fear that readers would be reading about me having sex. It’s my job to be cracked open when writing.

It has also been interesting to read the notes coming in from readers from all walks of life about it since then. Many growing wet or visibly nervous realizing they shouldn’t be reading this kind of a book out in the open as they’re having a physical reaction. Mothers part of the PTA to teenagers who are way too young to be reading this kind of trash anyway.

Every character is real and came out of composites of friends and lovers of mine. With some of them, I merged more than one into that character. The main love interest is a composite of three real people in my life. Before it came out, I explained to the core circle that they were treated like Kings in it. In the end, no one had any complaints and were excited and flattered they were used at all.

Jagger is ultimately a piece of my personal history, it’s also a love story on both a romantic and friendship level, even though it is “pornographic” in some places. I see the merging of physical expressions of love just as important as love itself.

Some of the racier content caused some problems behind the scenes with the distributor who gave me ultimatums. Basically, “change certain lines or we’re not putting it out”. “You can’t say that as it’s considered illegal. It’ll create issues.” They revisited that again a few years ago after the spiritual books started coming out where I had to spend hours on the phone negotiating or arguing with them over certain lines of dialogue. Some expressed concern that I would allow myself to associate the spiritual stuff with the sex stuff. That’s never been on my radar. I am all about both and have nothing to hide. There’s room for all facets of me, both the light and dark.

Some amusing and interesting trivia: In the Jagger book I say “cock” 80 times, but in my first spiritual book I say “God” 80 times. I once said I went from Sex to God, sometimes offending others by merging the two. Althea Flynt wouldn’t let Larry Flynt do that in Hustler magazine at one point, although he did manage to sneak both themes in anyway at times.

“Nice transition at the coffee shop into Slade. I heard the voicemail beep and it was Slade. I had to read to find out who he is!!”

“I wish I could have this author for a boyfriend.”

“Wow!!!! “Love your book!! Awesome erotic stuff 🙂 but you prob get that a lot.”

“Was impressed by the books eloquence and passion.”

“Had a two hour flight.  I began to read the book, and then when I got to the last few chapters of Garth and Jagger’s love story and their spiritual and sexual chemistry!  Man!  That romantic letter by Garth to Jagger.  I was so moved by it that by end of my flight I was teary and craving for love. Felt so romantic after so long.”

” When you say gay friendships missing morality and loyalty.  Kevin, you are right I agree.”

“Billy and Jagger.  Hot scene Kevin.  I had visuals”

“I really resonate with your philosophy to be a dude who loves other dudes in their whole body-mind-spirit existence.”

“I bought the Kindle edition of your book !  I F**KING LOVE IT!”

“I have read Jagger’s Revolution and man was it a ride! It had little snippets of different genres, some romance, some erotica, some drama, some spiritual, and some suspense. The trajectory of the author’s personality was evident in this novel.  I am extremely fond of the chapter with Sage, because it was so magical yet heartbreaking. Jagger and Sage were so good for each other, but now it can never be!  I was really heartbroken by that. The chapter about the borderline bipolar sufferer who Jagger broke up with over text really pissed me off, because Jagger wasted so much time and energy on that guy. But the tension between Jagger and Garth is something I can relate too. Against all odds they finally meet after so much anticipation! It took me 24 hours to finish this book and I was intrigued every second.”

The Writing Process for Me Includes Proofing in Nature

Kevin Hunter's photo.

Before I turn my manuscripts into my copy editor, I sit in this spot and proof extensively, then I give it to him. He eventually comes back with the whole thing destroyed in red pen and requests a meeting about it. I need to be outdoors in nature when I re-read and proof.

The first draft of my book, “Realm of the Wise One“, was written in this spot in three weeks, which is a record for any book I’ve written. Actually the first number of chapters were written in channeled shorthand on my cell phone. Who knew it could be so handy. The book was supposed to be a chapter in my book, “Darkness of Ego“, but ended up being hundreds of pages long that we decided it’s best that it be its own book.

I had reservations about the opening chapter which gives a glimpse of one of the realms in Heaven. I assumed it would be too out there for the human practical mind to digest and fathom. My editor disagreed and said to leave it as is. It turned out I was wrong and pleasantly surprised over how much people have been praising the book since its release. They’ve been asking for more realm books like that. This is in the works and in development, but my project list is one gigantic traffic jam.  http://tinyurl.com/pdzox6x

“Soul Mates and Twin Flames” is rated G for all ages and backgrounds.  However, “Jagger’s Revolution” is rated R and not for the easily offended.   The material is sexually graphic in some places.

Soul Mates and Twin Flames

Attracting in Love, Friendships and the Human Heart

Everyone is interested in love and relationships whether they like to admit it or not. Even the most hardened human soul has fantasized about having a love interest or a partner in crime. One of the main reasons we are all here is to love and to learn how to love. This is not just in intimate relationships, but with everyone we come into contact with.
In, Soul Mates and Twin Flames: Attracting in Love, Friendships and the Human Heart, author Kevin Hunter touches on the topic of love and relationships by passing on some of the messages and guidance he has received from his own Guides and Angels on the topic. Included in this informational book are some of the basics on, Soul Mates, Twin Flames, Dysfunctional Relationships, Reconnecting with an Ex, Karmic Relationships, Friendships, Loneliness, working with the Romance Angels, Dating, Relationships and more!

Jagger’s Revolution

Jagger’s Revolution is a love story about a strong, bohemian, beach thug with hard coded rules of etiquette on how love and relationships should be.  Jagger’s fight is one where he endures one bad date after another, while wondering if he’ll ever meet the right soul mate.  Throughout his dating dalliances and crushing love frustrations, he wrestles with the kind of gushing love crush one has as a teenager over Garth, the new lifeguard from Australia. He wrestles with an immediate silent connection with him and longs to get close.

Jagger is surrounded and prompted up by his trustworthy brother in arms. They’re also known as his buddies for life who temper his unruly ego and aggression while giving him undying loyalty. There’s the preppy book smart Troy, the high-powered executive, Russell, and the sex loving and relationship hating Slade.

Jagger’s Revolution contains hard biting dating wisdom and ideals threaded throughout the essays. This is surrounded by true accounts of being slighted by love while craving a perfect soul mate partnership.

Reader Advisory Warning and Spoiler: Jagger’s Revolution is a love story which contains some sexually explicit scenarios. It is not for those with a short attention span, since one needs to exercise patience when hoping to obtain your soul mate life partner. This rules out quite a bit in this “instant me” world who demand immediate gratification. One needs to endure Jagger’s unpleasant dating situations that lead nowhere, before he eventually merges with his twin flame. In traditional love stories, the voyeur is secretly aware that the two leads will end up together, but the fun is the build up and the journey one tolerates before that happens.

The semi-autobiographical essays include: The High School Episode with Billy, Natasha: The Escort Chick, as well as Sage and The Vegas Stripper Club. Jagger finds exhaustion with several dating entanglements that includes: Caden: the Malibu Cobra, the Skaterboy, The Englishman and The Professor.

Author’s Note:

“Just in time for Valentine’s Day this Sunday!  My first official book, the erotic beach read, “Jagger’s Revolution”.  This is a book that has had its share of controversy. There are countries that ban it. Meaning if someone in that country is caught with it, they could be fined, jailed, tortured, and yes even executed. You think your life is so tough. The world is not that evolved.

The book is 85% true and 15% exaggerated. Most of the essays are true and really did happen from the Drug scenarios to the Las Vegas stuff. You name it in the book and it likely happened in some form. Jagger’s three main friends were composites of my own friends. Most of the dialogue is all real and were words said in my circle.

Garth, the main love interest, was based on three of my friends – two straight, one gay. One of the three is Australian. I pulled out what I felt to be their best chivalrous qualities and immersed them into this character. It wasn’t hard since all of them exude that nature full time. I spent most of yesterday on the beach with one of them actually. Like Garth, this one was also a lifeguard for many years.

All of the main characters are still in my life. They were aware they were incorporated into the book before it came out ten years ago. I pre-warned everybody assuring them that they were treated like Kings in it. They were excited to see themselves in print in some form and definitely did not hold back on the gloating. They are just as cocky as I am. 🙂

The book has reached all the way to India where a female fan/reader sent me a photo recently holding the book on her lap. She understood the deeper meaning and point of the book, which is the journey to that all encompassing transcendent love that is also expressed through the physical. A pure union in all ways emotionally, spiritually, sexually.

In part of her message to me she wrote, “Had a two hour flight. I read the last few chapters of Garth and Jagger’s love story and sexual chemistry! OMG and that romantic letter by Garth to Jagger. I was crying the last 30 mins of the flight craving for love. Felt so so romantic after so long.”

Love has to be grand for me. It’s got to be on all levels or forget it. You’re either 100% in this or get out. Much like the Shania Twain song, “If you’re not in it for love, I’m out of here.”

The Pacific Ocean is one of the few pieces of Heaven left in Los Angeles

Kevin Hunter's photo.

The great blue Pacific is a reminder that there are untouched spots where bits and pieces of Heaven can be found on Earth. It’s one of the few places in L.A. that I still have an attraction for. Maybe it’s because no one has access to overdevelop on top of it the way they’ve destroyed the rest of the city and other parts of the country.  I was born and raised in Los Angeles and the city was never as bad as its become today.  In the late 90’s the population started to multiply astronomically every year.  For some reason everyone wanted to move to L.A. and now that there is no more room, they want out, but are more or less stuck.

This particular photo I took is the tiny untouched beach city where I live in Southern California. I’m here regularly and often. Feeling the ocean mist hit you without a break alerts me to the reality that I am blessed. It’s also one of the very few areas in L.A. where the people are incredibly warm, friendly and inviting. How can you not be? The second you step foot onto this bit of paradise you can literally feel the stress evaporate off your body. Your true nature is exuded from the inside out. Everyone here automatically assumes a friendship the second you approach one another.

This is also surfer haven, which at times can look like a parking lot on longboards. The ocean tide has taken over the area where the sand is, but it’s not usually like that.  On super off days, I can be found somewhere over here for hours clearing, connecting, and igniting. It’s where the birth of dreams and inspiration happen.

Rock and roll music plays in a local sports bar.  Four friends move through the packed place to a familiar spot.

TROY
If he doesn’t leave a message he’s trash.

JAGGER
I got a sharp pain of depression right after it.

SLADE
I get that every time I have to call a date back.

Troy swigs his drink and faces the boys.

Not actually into the fetish thing, but I do collect sneakers.  Oh! And they need to make sure that what they’re “looking for” really IS what they’re looking for.  Edit:  Just to clarify, if you’re NOT in the 18-25, swimmers, athletic, muscular category and white-esque, Hispanic, then I’m probably not interested in anything physical.

SLADE

Me? I only enjoy sex.  So how about friends?  Fuckbuds.  Fuck relationship.  I don’t know.  I don’t care.  Call me and we’ll take it from there.

Trashy Beach Read – Jagger’s Revolution. Erotic Romance. Hot and Sexy.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

OCTOBER 2011

“Jagger’s Revolution”

The boy book that takes a not so pretty peek into the dating life in Southern California where most anyone can relate.

Things have just begun heating up in Los Angeles.  Jagger, a strong, put together dude works out his dating frustrations through a series of sexually charged columns and vignettes.  A fun-laidback-summer book for the under twenties set who hate to read, but are looking to get off, be slightly enlightened or just plain dreaming of love.  Readers follow Jagger’s hunt for the real thing in a city that seems to be plagued of any honest human connection.  One nineteen-year-old reader described it as a rainbow book for adults, “…more emotional, but HOT!”

The protagonist is an aristocratic beach thug who rules by his scrupulous idea of how dating and relationships should be equating dating with going to battle. He’s strikingly attractive, but also a menace, with an aggressive disapproval for weakness and bad etiquette. His rough and interesting dating past prompts an editor to spear him into incorporating and transcribing his findings into a series of columns for a popular magazine. The author sets up a highly perceptive dark alter ego, Jagger, to deliver a not particularly warm interpretation of the dating and sex world, while offering a fresh alternate perspective.

He steps up to inform us all about what it’s like to be a regular guy dating in the current frustrating marketplace, offering much more serious complications in the way of hunting for romance. Jagger wrestles with assuming the stance of a guy-cockiness and all-yet searching for a balance in finding love’s peace.  He seems to have it all down, and believes he has Mr. Right in his eye line, if only he could speak to him.

The narrative is sexually explicit throughout, but also affecting in places where you’re motioned to stop and think. He finds exhaustion with going on yet another sexual or friendly excursion when he knows the guy for him is the one he can’t say more than two words to. If there is any light to all his darkness, it’s the pleasing love story, the central theme that runs throughout his disappointments in matters of the heart. He experiences the kind of crush and love one has as a teenager over Garth, the dreamboat lifeguard from Australia, with the boyish distinction and the killer smile, who he keeps running into in passing.  He feels an immediate silent connection with him and longs to get close.

Jagger’s Revolution: Jagger carries with him a depth and darkness so vast it isn’t surprising that he hail from some otherworldly place

Jagger’s Revolution

“Jagger’s Revolution” is a ride through character development and finding a path to true love.  Jagger carries with him a depth and darkness so vast it isn’t surprising that he hail from some otherworldly place.  Although he lives in a sprawling bohemian beach community, he runs it as if he were a ruthless aristocrat.  He writes about love and yet hates to date.  He doesn’t need men, but just wants one in particular.  Then he makes the mistake of letting many men into his life. The many that come off fleeting and pointless they are barely allowed room to breathe in his sun-kissed utopia.  You wouldn’t want them to anyway.  He knows this.  They infiltrate the many clones pointlessly pursuing everything and nothing in L.A. furthering his inner disappointment with love.  When you hardly know someone and that’s how he treats you, he’s not worth serving 35 years to life.  So he does everything but kill them.  He finds just the right note between suspicion and perception.  He never compresses his revelations and dreams of an ideal paradise.  Instead he manifests it to include him, his posse and that hot lifeguard that he believes carries the key that will awaken every erotic sense existing in him.
