Prince, David Bowie, George Michael, and now Carrie Fisher pass on into the next room

This is how the surfers and my beach community build a grave at home.

Speaking of those who have passed on this year. Prince, David Bowie, and now George Michael have moved on into the next room. They all reigned in the 80’s and 90’s embodying masculine and feminine energies and spirit. A powerful combination that all souls have within them. I had mentioned to a friend that it’s interesting these performers also had addiction issues, which not only puts strain on your heart long after you’ve stopped, but addictions are something I’m quite familiar with in my own life.

I said to another friend yesterday that the only other major entertainer still going from that era seems to be Madonna. He said, “Madonna will probably be the only survivor. They’ll have to drag her off the stage by force.” ha. She is a warrior that’s for sure and also anti-drugs and into taking care of herself, so it’s no surprise she’s still going.

And now Carrie Fisher has entered the next room. What’s interesting is I saw her death yesterday happening before New Year’s Eve. She was a hilarious comedian and uplifting spirit that could make light of the darkness. Loved her book, “Wishful Drinking“, which I could relate to having battled with that also myself in the past. Generations of great talent continue to depart this world and move on into the next. 🙌🙏
